GEPAN’S Support Education Campaign (SEC) was launched in August 2016, as an incentive for parents to send their children to school.
The initiative falls within the organisation’s scope of empowering people living in Guyana’s rural communities, particularly single mothers and their children, and consists of donating stationery packages and other school supplies to children attending Primary School.
GEPAN’s intention is to expand SEC to include Secondary School beneficiaries and where possible, University students.
SEC is made possible through fundraising events but more importantly, through donations made by local businesses and the private individual committed to educating Guyana’s future generations.
