The Amerindian Land Titling Project was launched by the Government of Guyana and funded by revenues generated by the Low Carbon Development Strategy (LCDS). An initial US $10.7 million was allocated to the project when it was established in June 2014. The Implementing Partner of the project is the Indigenous Peoples Affairs Ministry (MoIPA), with the technical support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

2. Regarding Tasserene and Kambaru-Omanaik, former Minister Persaud agreed to facilitate the land titling process for both communities. However, this was never done.  He also disputed that these were ancestral lands.

2 Eclipse Falls Top Examined by Cabinet. Approved for titling based on initial proposed boundaries requested.
3 Four Miles Absolute Grant issued under ALT in February, 2015. Delivered by Allicock administration after the closure of ALT.
